Attracting life on day one

I hit the water to dive the Mohawk 3 hours after she sunk.  My first scuba dive was a 120 minute dive to 87 feet using my OptimaFx closed-circuit rebreather.   By the end of the dive, I spotted a small school of sergeant majors at the bow, and a large barracuda lurking above the smoke stack.   Life had moved in quick on the Mohawk.  It makes sense because the Mohawk was placed on Lee County’s Charlie Reef site, and not to far from where the 110 ft Pegasus was placed back in the late 90s.
